Diese eignet sich ideal für äußerst dünne und leichte Multimedia-Notebooks. Die Plattform mit Codename „Yukon“ basiert auf dem neuen AMD Athlon™ Neo Prozessor und integrierter ATI RadeonTM X1250 Grafik, optional mit einer diskreten ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 3410 Grafikkarte2. Somit ermöglicht sie vollständige HD-Auflösung1 zu einem erschwinglichen Preis in einer neuen Kategorie von ultraportable Notebook PCs. Die neue AMD Plattform wird bereits im neuen HP Pavilion dv2 Entertainment Notebook verbaut, das weniger als 2,5 cm Höhe misst und dessen Gewicht weniger als zwei Kilogramm beträgt. Das HP Pavilion dv2 ist mit einem 12,1 Zoll LED BrightView-Bildschirm, einer großzügig gestalteten Tastatur sowie optional einem externen Blu-ray-Laufwerk ausgestattet.
